In the art world people always argue about who did what first, who stole what from whom, and the issue of originality comes into play. Art is made by influences, wether people admit it or not, their influenced by everything and everyone. So today, on Tuesday Tunes we’ve decided to go with the same style as last week and rather than bog you down with info upon info, we’re just going to post some covers that we enjoy. Influences start somewhere, even if it means playing a pre-played tune. Enjoy.
Karmin covers “Look at Me Now” by Chris Brown ft. Busta Rhymes, and Lil Wayne
Boyce Avenue and Kina Grannis cover “Fast Car” by Tracy Chapman
Andrew Garcia covering “Forever” by Chris Brown
Tanner Patrick covers “Pumped Up Kicks” by Foster the People
Make Sure to check out more of their musical talents all over YouTube. And keep a look out for their uprising, as people seem to be breaking out of youtube and on to stages world wide. Enjoy and Happy Tuesday. -Osky

Happy Valentines Day to all (with or without a loved one). On Valentines day people are usually overfilled with love which means overpriced flowers, to many chocolates, and sappy love songs that play softly over candle lit dinners. Well here at the OSKY headquarters, rather than listening to that sappy stuff, we play a mixture of more modern love tunes. We figured on this Tuesday Tunes (which is long overdue, apologies to any of our avid followers, it wont happen again) we would give you a Modern Love song edition. Rather than bog you down with bios and discographies, were just going to simply post the songs for your mere enjoyment. So grab a loved one, or a cat, a dog, or maybe a drink and enjoy.
Clem Snide “Bread”
Angus and Julia Stone “Love Will Take You”
The Weepies “Gotta Have You”
The Boxer Rebellion “If You Run”
Death Cab For Cutie “I Will Follow You Into the Dark”
Again, Happy Valentines Day to all. -OSKY Team
